Sebastian Gunawan and Cristina Panarese Unveil SEBASTIANred 2025 Collection Inspired by Iconic Parisian Café de Flore
Sebastian Gunawan and Cristina Panarese present the latest SEBASTIANred 2025 collection, drawing inspiration from the legendary Café de Flore in Paris—a renowned cultural landmark where socialites and intellectuals gathered in the early 20th century. Located on Boulevard Saint-Germain, this iconic café was a favorite haunt of Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, and Pablo Picasso.
The SEBASTIANred 2025 collection captures the expressive lifestyle of Café de Flore’s eclectic clientele, translating it into fashion that is chic, distinctive, and elegantly bold.
“Café de Flore attracted people from all walks of life. We imagined guests arriving not just from today, but also from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s,”
said designers Sebastian Gunawan and Cristina Panarese.
This collection is rich with floral beauty, feminine silhouettes, and intricate textures. Each print is exclusively designed, featuring large-scale plants and blossoms that introduce fresh and captivating visual elements. Influenced by historical figures who once frequented the café, the color palette is vivid and dynamic—featuring hues such as peach, purple, green, brown, silver, white, and black—each contributing to a look that is both modern and timeless.
Comprising 60 distinctive looks, the collection blends contemporary design with timeless artistic values. Each piece is a tribute to the spirit of self-expression embodied by Café de Flore—an ode to the graceful yet statement-making Parisian lifestyle. This collection is not merely about clothing—it is a journey through history, art, and creative freedom, presented in its most refined form.
